satirist in this hilarious, loving, and endlessly
entertaining tribute to some of the theatre's greatest stars
and songwriters. The show is a cabaret revue sharply
spoofing show tunes, characters and plots of contemporary
and current Broadway musicals. Forbidden Broadway has mocked
popular shows like Wicked, Les Miz, Annie, Hairspray,
Chicago, Hello,Dolly, Mamma Mia, Rent, Spamalot, Cats.
Fiddler on the Roof, and A Chorus Line. It also targets
famous Broadway actors, writers, composers, directors,
choreographers and producers, including Carol Channing,
Ethel Merman, Mandy Patinkin, Harvey Fierstein, Barbra
Streisand and Liza Minelli.
